Australia-Japan Goodwill Golf Tournament
Monday September 17 was "Respect for the Aged Day" in Japan and even though this public holiday is not recognised in Australia, 95 participants came to the Federal Golf Club to compete in the annual Australia-Japan Goodwill Golf Tournament. The competitors ranged from non-handicappers up to single handicappers, all eager to enjoy 18 holes of competitive golf.
In the end, the day was a success. Forcasted rain came and went before play commenced and the wind only added to the challenge. Some participants did particularly well.
