This part of the site will contain news relating to the society dealing with events and other interesting news I hear about. I will also try to put any interesting Japan related news that I hear about also. Please feel free to submit news and I will add it to this page.

Wow its been quite awhile since I have written anything in this section so I guess I should post a quick update about the website. After moving home and not having the internet for awhile I can now finish updating some of the older sections. The committee biographies are now back online and I am checking to make sure that my updates are going through to the webserver. Hopefully everything should be working fine now. =)
I also still need feedback and suggestions for what kinds of things you would like to see on the website. I appreciate any submissions of photographs or stories from AJSACT or Japan related topics. Full credit will be given to anything you submit to me.

The Student Exchange pages are now ready to go and the other pages should be appearing shortly as the information gathering and formatting for them is nearing completion. Just a reminder to you all to submit anything that you think would be useful on the website to me. This means ideas or even content. If you would like to write up a paragraph on past events or submit photographs then I would love to put them up here.
P.S. The Student Exchange looks like a wonderful opportunity so I strongly advise anyone who is elegible and interested to send in an application. Hehe I know I would be applying if I was still in secondary school! =)

After a long haul first with a lengthy period of technical difficulties and other problems which I don’t have the space here to go into details about, I am glad to announce that the site is finally nearing completion. I have posted the first alpha version (I thank copious amounts of Jpop and Cola fueled insomnia for the development and coding work…Naruto and all the other anime also helped to keep my spirits up =P) and the content is being filled in daily now as all the hardest parts should be finished. Fingers crossed for smooth sailing from now on! (^-^)v
P.S. Thanks a lot for your help with site mapping and testing Colin you’re a champion!
